Saddle washers (storm washers)
Saddle washers are referred to in different ways depending on the language they came from. In English “saddle washers” in German they are “orkan- kalloten”. Their purpose is to multiply the force required to drive the screw head through the sheet metal of the panel and to prevent lifting and drifting of the panels in hurricane winds. They are placed on each wave of the roof panel.
The product is made of 1mm aluminum and foam polymer, which ensures water tightness of the compound. The rigidity of the product is guaranteed by the significant ribbing of the material, which does not allow deformation, even if a man step on them, placed on the floor!
The dimensions of the products are determined by their width -21 mm, 26, mm, 41 mm, 54 mm and by the bending angle, which is most often 16, 26 or 32 degrees. Thus, the sizes are 21-16, 26-27, 41-32 and 54-32, where the first number is the width and the second the angle. For example, 26-27 means that the top flat part is 26mm and an angle of the "legs" is 27 degrees. The combinations are shown in the pictures.
